Well I started another PTTP deadlift cycle on Monday this week. Started with 410# from a 4" deficit. Today I'm going to pull 430# from a 4" deficit. Last cycle, I ended my cycle with 500# from a 4" deficit. This resulted in a 550# raw pull from the floor. Deficit deadlifts work. Most of my progress in the deadlift has been due to deficit deadlifts.
Well my side press has increased but not by much. Only 10#?!! Even after all those heavy TGUs?!!*Steups*. And speaking of...

So on Tuesday, I tested my DL max. 550 lbs!!! Yeah!! 2.5x BW deadlift!! The 600lb DL target is within reach

Well, I finished another PTTP deadlift cycle on Saturday. I was able to pull 500# from a 4" deficit (15# PR). Cannot complain about that. Anyways, I'm taking a few days off, then I'm going to test my max DL. Hopefully, I can pull 540# or 6 wheels or even 550# (2.5x BW DL, or somewhere close to that)

Well I finished another PTTP deadlift cycle last week Friday. I tried pulling 530 lbs but couldn't budge it off the ground. Must be due to fatigue. But that was a 15# increase pulling from off the floor. I started another deadlift cycle yesterday with 400 lbs from a 4" deficit. I'm going to go up in 10# increments each workout. Hopefully, I can pull 500 lbs from a 4" deficit at the end of the cycle and get closer to pulling 550 lbs i.e. 2.5x BW. I'll be glad to reach that landmark, but...
