My thread "Guest User? Really" prompted some 6 pages of discussion on why Pavel's user account had been changed to "Guest User" status. John Du Cane answered in a forthright manner, and I thanked him for his professionalism in this very forum.

That entire thread was removed from the forum on or around August 26. I've been an HKC and an active, outspoken member in good standing for some 3yrs now, but I don't support this sort of censorship. Look for me on the public web.

Note: just recovering from a low-back strain from some really dumb dead lifts. Not the DL's fault.

I am right on the edge of "strong enough". 3wks ago, I could barely launch a 2-arm jerk. 2x16kg cleans made me tired. That's not enough basic strength. My legs also have had 2yrs of grind training but no elasticity. Adding jump squats and jerk squats, running, and dead lifts.

Program prepared by a local coach had 5-6 days of both main sets and supplementary heavy-bell work. Beginning wk 2 of alternating 2 main days and 2 heavy days. Getting antsy, but feeling this out for tolerance and recovery. OAJ until I can do heavy day with 24kg. Stick with Dbl carries and bumps for practice.

Beginning a season of GS training. Program prepared by a local coach had 5-6 days of both main sets and supplementary heavy-bell work. I have a history of 4-day tolerance and recovery, so I laid out Sat/Tue main sets and Sun/Thu supplementary for the first few weeks. Beginning today after a back-off week.
