    Hi, my name is Connor and I posted a thread a few weeks ago (Any Swimmers Here?) and I got a few replies saying that you were the go-to guy about swimming.

    I'm an 18 yearold Senior on my high schools swim team and I've decided to step it up a notch ...or 10 for my last season here.

    For conditioning I recently ordered your Viking Warrior Conditioning book and am excited to apply it to my training regimen when it arrives.

    Technique on the other hand is something that I'd love to get your opinion on. (I don't know much about your background other than that you're a Master RKC and somewhere I heard that you're the swim coach for the Danish Olympic Swim Team)

    Where do you recommend that I start? Certain books? DVD's? Websites? I'd like to develop the most efficient technique possible in the next few months (The state competition is in February)

    Thank you for reading this, I'm sure you're very busy and I will appreciate any advice you have to offer.

    Hi Kenneth, are light KB's (16kg) effective for increasing speed and vertical leap? I usually train with 32kg.

    IP> yes I still train Olympic swimmers and they all benefit greatly from the PM + Z + a LOT of time in the water. nothing fancy but it works great! Swimmers are not that hard designing programs for.

    Hello, Mr. Jay.

    I was just wondering if you would have some advice on how to use supplemental training with the kettlebell for training for endurance/strength for swimming?

    I had posted a thread asking about supplemental exercises, in addition to the normal swings, snatches, clean & press, off of the ROP that would help with swimming and someone mentioned that you may have trained Olympic swimmers in the past.

    Hey Kenneth...
    I'm a David Whitley victim & I was asking him about the costs of attending the Danish RKC... He said you may have some suggestions regarding lodging.
    I'm not sure if I could afford it this year, but I'm just trying to figure out the general cost. I'd like to do the RKC at some point, and I thought it would be cool as hell to go to the one in Denmark...

Quick training today...

Barbell Clean & Jerk:
165lbs/20 reps....

pace was 5 reps/min.

after that stairway sprint inttervals 20 sek/ 1:20 rest. I took a 12 gallon jerry can and filled it with 8 gallons of water. put it in a backpack and started to run.....

what a great way to punish my self.....

Gave a 4 hour kettlebell workshop yesterday for the Danish Military Police...

and the training today consisted of:

A high intensity run 8 min.

Pull ups:
bw+48kg/10 singles with 20 sec. rest between reps

KB Military press:
48kg/1+1 rep x 2 sets
48kg/2+2 reps
48kg/3+3 reps
48kg/2+2 reps x 2 sets
48kg/1+1 rep

over and out!

Did some double clean & presses along with a couple of sets of snatches with the beast today.

2x48kg/1+1 rep x 3 sets

Todays practice. I have been sitting in a car the entire day so wanted to do something different and fun....

Double Clean & Military press (Beast go home!:
2x48kg/3 singles (that was pretty fun!)

One arm double swings- hip level:
2x48kg/5+5 reps x 2 sets (damn, what a grip and core workout)

Pull ups:
bw+48kg/3 reps x 2 sets (ain´t nothing to it!)

Pull ups with a clap:
bw+48kg/1 rep (now that is a challenge!)
