look for the 60D commons, they are thicker then 1/4 and have a series of tick markes on the top of the shank. If you would like i will mail you one to try out and use to locate others.
Battle axe is going to take some time. I have no idea how many hours it takes to make, but it is a long time. Rule in sales--If you want something done right and for cheap, it is not going to be fast.
Adam, I just bent the blue with the Reverse. I had never tried it until you sent me this message. I was just finished working out and some practice bending and I started messing around and immediately kinked the blue easily so I grabbed the video camera and you can see the rest.
I ran out of gas and braced this to finish but even though, this was a battle and I wanted to win. I am so stoked about the new Reverse style and completely amazed that I just did this..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBFHftvIuwE
Double over but am starting to try under but with limited success yet. I am at yellow nail consistently and on a good day have had success with the blue but not consistent yet. I found the 60 D's I was bending to be much easier than the blue's.
My practice has been with mostly grade 2 bolts, timber ties, and some 60 D's.
I feel my form is lacking and not sure how much wrist and hand action to use vs. upper body tension or the right combination of the two. I have significant upper body strength and am working on wrist and hand strength. Still need to get my tendons and hands toughened up and am working on that as well.
Your last video was sick..... Did you ever get the massive Conan battle axe?
The companion will take everything you have, and realistically you will spent the next few years working to move it one more 1/8 of an inch. This is because those new wrenches are TOUGH
For your short bending-What can yo bend now Double Under. Double Over, and Reverse? Please post all three bar PRs and we will figure our a course of action.
