Another Good Week. I have added TGUs to my variety days, and am now playing with some more Abs work and Windmills. I'd like to learn to Bent press as a variety exercise, and apparently the best progression for this is Windmills, then Side Press, then Bent Press. So I start with the windmills. It's great stretching work too, so that isn't bad.
The windmill stretching reminds me that since doing the kettlebell work, my back doesn't hurt anymore. When something that used to hurt all...

This week I added Dumbbell Rows to start strengthening my back again so I can start Pull-ups. Since I haven't been able to to pulls with my elbow (it's pretty much all healed now) My back is pretty weak and I can only do a few pull-ups before I fail. These rows are a good intermediate way of building back up.
I had planned on doing the HKC this March, but I can't work it into my schedule. That, and I don't think I'll be physically ready in time to do it well. There should be another...

It started helping right away. I have my fingers crossed but at this rate my elbow will be totally pain free in another week or so.

I added a new 53lbs (24KG) bell this week. This weight is a challenge after two ladders of three, which is good, I needed the step up. When using it in doubles it's damn near insane. Heh.

This was my first full week pressing and using the new Enter the Kettlebell Plus. What a great Program! The program reduces the pressing days to two per week, and ballistics days to two per week, with two variety days. The last day is rest. There are several different Press/Squat/Pull/Jerk exercises, so this helps me out since with less identical motion, the chance of aggravating my elbow (an RSI) is reduced. The workload is high, but not crazy. It really seems to be a good new balance. I am keeping...
