PTTP's "Bear" routine defitely proves just how far ahead Pavel's logic is. His point of fatigue and tension being mutually exclusive has got to be one of the biggest advances in effective training since Arthur Jones' shocked the strength training world w/ his revelations.
I never would have concluded that taking 80% of what a trainee would consider "heavy" and doing 10-20 sets of 5 reps would induce significantly more hypertrophy than 1 "HIT" set to failure...

The man featured in this post definitely depicts what IMO what PTTP is. A man training at his home (Shreveport, LA. in his case). < Thats all you need + a huge amount of intense effort.

Progressed on to:
DL> 370x5/335x5/295x5x5
Pr> 65x5/60x5/55x5x5
I'm convinced that once 500x5 (100) is acheived a significant lbm gain will have occured.

This morning I pushed on to the Bear using the same weights as last w/out. 365x5/330x5/295x5x3.
It never ceases to amaze me how the DL has such as PTTP calls it a "tonic" effect on the body & mind. This is direct contrast to the squat which always left me feeling as though I had abused my body. IOW an exhausted nervous system which again is direct agreement w/ PTTP's squat analysis.
I just DL'ed tuesday and I "had" to again today. W/ the squat...
