warm-up w/40
Singles: 50 52.5 60 65 70 75 MISS 80 MISS 80 pull 87.5 MISS 80.

Snatch felt damn good today; the transition felt solid all the way up through 75. The single there was the nicest rep I've ever done with 75; Pull, stick it, pause just an instant to make sure it's solid, up. Smooth. Missed 80 three times! Whoaaa---

long time off from logging, no time off from training. Took a trip to Dallas to check out the University there, at which I'll be pursuing my doctoral studies in political philosophy in the hip, sexy, happening environs of... IRVING, TEXAS!

Still too frickin' light.

Priority one is to improve sleep schedule--got in habit of staying up kinda late at Dallas.

Priority two is more food. I'm doing the GPP stuff with enough volume to slowly put a little meat on my bones... if I eat accordingly.

Reflections now that I have reached the end of my cycle here, more or less.

I have substantially improved my oly technique and strength, as well as my raw back squat strength. Job well done. Things to focus on in this next cycle:

- Bringing up the posterior chain. My hamstrings are still just a bit weak and small, my hips still rise a bit on pulls, and my hips rising is ALWAYS the failing point on a maximal or circamaximal back squat. Kettlebell swings, sled dragging,
