Beware of whom you listen to

by SSGGLASS on 03-04-2009 at 08:58 AM
I will always tell this to anyone who will listen. Use caution when you read the various pieces of "information" on the web. I see a lot of down right shitty strength and conditioning articles and posts. People who are flat out weak are posing as experts. Some people think seniority makes them right, for example you will see "I have been lifting for 20 years..." But you look at the person and they are medicore with moments of average.

Training is very solid.

I have been working with some GS style snatching and jerks. Its not as hard as these guys tell themselves. A lot of form and technical work is required. Eric and Alexander have been a big help with trouble shooting my snatch technique.

Moving in to the new building has taken up a lot of time. But now things are back on track. Business is expanding very quickly. I am going to have to locate and hire an additional trainer by May to lighten the

2008 almost gone. World in flames, depressions right around the corner, madness in the streets, Is that all true?

Welcome to the age of media sensation. Anyone who studies history can tell you the world is no more screwed up now then any other time. In fact it is a lot more civil. There was a time when looking the wrong way at someone ment being ran through with a long blade, or being tortured. To be sure there are still some crazy parts of the world (Africa, The middle east, California)

by SSGGLASS on 12-25-2008 at 08:23 AM
It is just too easy to make progress-- My working weight for my plate curls is now 25lbs at 3/5 extension, Soon it will be 25lbs at full extension.

A 45lbs plate will be my plate curl biatch before its warm here...

Anyways, i am going to step away for a while to focus on some projects with design for the gym and some advertising for the entertainment business. Be back later...
