    Default Zma

    Anyone tried it?
    Its a natrural anabolic supplement.
I read that it aids in sleep.
    Any comments would be great.

I have tried it. Seems to work well. I notice that when my T levels go up at all I get pimples on my back and shoulders for a week. ZMA sure did that, not as well as Bulgarian Tribulus, but it worked. I also slept like a log after taking it. One piece of advice though: Make sure you don't eat huge right before bed and then take it. For me it cause some super poops the next morning.

I use it every night. Haven't noticed the side effects that M.Harris mentioned. It does give me better nights sleep than when I'm not taking it. Like when my head hits the pillow I'm out and don't wake until the next morning. Take it on an empty stomach if possible and don't take it with calcium containing products. I use Universal ZMA Pro Universal Zma Pro - 90 Cap by Universal Nutrition at DPS Nutrition - The Nation's leader in Discount Nutrition. I have tried a few brands and for me this is better than the others I have tried. And no I'm not affiliated with any company.

Yes, it makes you sleep very well. Don't take it with any kind of food that has Vitamin C or Calcium in it. The vitamin C negates the zinc and the calcium negates the magnesium. Bizzare dreams and being a little groggy when you get up are par for the course.

I think I'll try it; since its really only vitamins and minerals.

Does not help me sleep but it does effect T imo as evidenced by increased libido. Cheap suppliment and a lot of hard training folks need a little more zinc

In studies of men who had no zinc deficiency in their daily intake, zma had no effect on their T levels in resistance training, if i recall correctly.

if you do a search in the forum you may still find all the research results around this.

On the sleep side, it does not put you to sleep, but helps you sleep through the night. very useful if jet lagged or dealing with a low cal. event.
