Protein powders aren't part of paleo anything.

I do understand that they are not a Paleo food. I am cutting out dairy and gluten/ grains from my diet, And doing what I can following the theories behind the diet with my busy schedule. I was looking for feedback on egg protein powders not information concerning the Paleo diet. Also, in the book, Paleo diet for athletes, protien powders are suggested if needed.

I think that its over priced. Real eggs, or best of egg 'juice' is cheaper; plus no cholesterol or fat in best of egg if you so desire.
Eat the whole egg; the fat is good for you. I've tried egg white proteins powder, and found that I make just as much progress by eating real eggs; by progress, I mean muscle gain/repair.
The whole point of these cleverly named diets is to get away from processed foods.
Right?

By some organic, free range eggs, and eat them raw, or blended with fruit. It's tasty, easy to digest, and your body will use more of the protein than the powders. If you do want a powder, Trueprotein.com has a nice selection that you can custom tailor.

I have purchased 10lbs from Rose acre farms. I'm still using it as 2 tablespoons is 24grams of protein, so it goes a long way. The stuff is a pain to mix though. SportProtein.com
I have also used Vitol egg white powder. Vitol tasted better and mixed easier. Big Alpha Dogs Shopping Cart
Leave the raw eggs for Rocky

I am a long-time customer of trueprotein.com; I get their literature and e-mails and ads, but I have never seen them promote egg protein. They are always pimping other sources such as whey, hemp, rice, pea, etc. It seems that either egg protein is out of fashion or that it is not considered as worthy as other sources by those in the protein business.

you shouldn't care whether it is paleo friendly or not. eating paleo just means you are part of some club - most of its members are looney IMO.
just eat whatever you find to be conducive to your goals. if you eat all paleo but also use protein, WHO CARES?????????? you will not be respected by the paleo society but they are loons anyways.
its like saying you shouldn't do bicep curls because they aren't functional and high reps just fill your muscles with goo. it is retarded.
rant over.
go to trueprotein.com to get make your own blend and get it cheap. I used a 60% casein 30% egg white 10% whole egg blend from there and like it very much.
eating raw eggs is dumb and a waste of eggs. you can only use about 30% of the protein in raw eggs compared to when you cook them. which is above 90% or something.
i used to eat 36 a day with heavy cream, old school style. didn't do crap but i wasted a bunch of eggs. the cream was tastey though

I would only recommend egg protein powder if you are attempting to become a social leper and struggling with conventional methods. But there are fetish sites for people who like that type of smell.
