Default RTK and WD

I was wondering, since RTK is a size and strength program, would it be compatible with the WD? Obviously you would really have to pack in the food/calories, or would the fast help with the hormone releases brought on by the extra work? I guess as long as your post workout is spot on and your eating enough you should be okay, right?

With all due respect to Pavel and although I think the WD is wrong-headed, I think it is just a matter of surplus kcals. Therefore if your nightly feasts are in fact big enough, I feel WD can work. That is a big "if" and obviously the WD is not the best tool for this application but I still think it could work.

I think you will get the best answer to this question if you ask it on the Warrior Diet forum. I think the web-page is www.defensenutrition.com. Ori himself is online there, so maybe he can tell you if you describe RTK for him.

The advice I have followed is this article that Jack wrote.

How to Gain Weight –the Final Answer

This just plain works. In my opinion the constant supply of nutrients eating 6 meals a day helps a lot. I add a half gallon of milk a day when I want to really grow.

I can gain weight on the warrior diet, but it works best for me as a maintenance or fat loss diet.

I agree with old hated enemy KJ43,

I personally think Berardi is the daddy when it comes to packing on muscle. Berardi trains everyone, boydbuilder, footballers...everyone so dont think its just for big slow muscle.

What if you increased the main meal time, ala LeanGains? They advocate fasting 16hrs and feasting for 8hrs.

If you are a WD follower, Ori's "Maximum Muscle, Minimum Fat" should be your guide.

I will add that, as a 54-year-old who has always been on the skinny side, the approach works for me, too. In a nutshell, instead of just having cleansing types of food during the day, you take in some protein plus a bit of carbs, which is about the contents of most nutrition products advertised as "recovery meals" and similar. Over the last year or so, I have begun having homemade nut butters during the day, and/or a protein bar of some sort.

Although, in principle, the WD might seem the opposite of the six-meals-a-day approach, in reality, the MMMF approach isn't all that different.

Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.
