Default Is Acai Berry diet for real??

Another email this morning, this one from Acai Resolution, saying what I want to hear: Flush away waste! Burn Calories! Eliminate Cravings! free trial!!

But ever order off an infomercial, there are no free trials, you usually get sucked into the stuff showing up.

And there’s a big picture of Oprah, her approval, that’s not encouraging, and there’s not much info, mostly just sign up, but does it work for weight loss? Anyone know?

Went cruising for user reviews, lots of different brands of Acai, lots of angry people out there claiming it’s super expensive and a total scam, found one site Nulean One Week Detox Diet vs Acai Berry Diet compares it with Nulean, a cleanse, anyone heard of that???

Any suggestions? Open to plans that are healthy, have a cleanse or detox, no packaged food to buy (no thanks, Jenny, stuff tastes like cardboard). Thanks. )

Don't. It is not only a waste of time and cash, it is also bad for your health

do not throw the baby out with the bathwater. The acai is a berry and accordingly it has all the positive properties of berries: it is nutritious, has antioxidants, etc.

So eat it with that understanding and realize that it will not erode your fat, it will not eradicate toxins (even if you had them), and it will not cure cancer.

It is just a berry. Eat it. It is good for you, but do not expect miracles.

    Dont buy off those infomercials!!!

Look at the terms and conditions and you will see why...actually, here is an extract from the terms and conditions which show you, plain and simple, how they plan to steal your cash...

Trial Offer and Sixty (60) Day Guarantee: Where AcaiBurnPlusTM offers its "Trial" Promotion, and where you have chosen to register for such Promotion, upon submitting your initial AcaiBurnPlusTM Application, your Active Credit Card will be charged only the non-refundable Shipping and Handling Fee for your initial fourteen (14) day trial membership ("Trial Membership") and you will receive a one (1) month supply of AcaiBurnPlusTM. If you do not cancel your Membership as set forth in Section 6 hereinbelow, and return the one (1) month supply at your expense, which must be received by us within fourteen (14) days of your receipt of the one (1) month supply of AcaiBurnPlusTM ("14 Day Trial Period"), your Active Credit Card will be charged the monthly Membership fee of Seventy-Nine Dollars and Ninety-Five Cents ($79.95) ("Monthly Fee"). Your first three (3) month supply of AcaiBurnPlusTM will be shipped thirty (30) days from the date that your initial one (1) month supply was shipped in connection with your Trial Membership. Thereafter, for as long as your Membership remains active, your Active Credit Card will be charged for the Monthly Fee on a monthly basis, plus Shipping and Handling, every third month, for your ongoing Membership. You hereby authorize AcaiBurnPlusTM (or its partners, affiliates and/or agents) to charge your Active Credit Card all such fees associated with Membership on a monthly basis. You acknowledge and agree that AcaiBurnPlusTM will not obtain additional authorization from you for each installment of Monthly Fees charged to your Active Credit Card. All Monthly Fees will appear on your Active Credit Card bill as "Internet Access Fee and Membership."

SO IF YOU ARE HAPPY TO BE BILLED FOR A PRODUCT WHICH YOU MAY NOT ACTUALLY HAVE TIME TO PROPERLY SAMPLE BEFORE HAVING TO SEND BACK (14 DAYS), WHICH PLACES UNREASONABLE CHARGES ON YOUR CREDIT CARD WITHOUT YOUR AUTHORITY ($80 EVERY MONTH) AND MAKES YOU HAVE TO READ ALL THESE UNDERHANDED TACTICS VIA THE 'SMALL PRINT' THEN GO AHEAD AND THROW YOUR CASH AWAY!!!!

    HERS ANOTHER ONE FOR THE BRITS;

    A. Free Trial Policy: Our Free Trial policy requires You to understand certain important dates. The policy, and the important dates for You to know, are as follows:
    • 1. Beginning on the day that You place an order for a product ("Product") from the Website, Your fifteen (15) day Free Trial period begins ("Free Trial Period"). The Free Trial Period is calculated in calendar days, not business days. At the end of your 15 day trial period you will be charged GBP 69 (a GBP 20.95 savings off the regular retail price of GBP 99.95).
    • 2. You will be shipped a thirty (30) day supply of the Product You ordered. Generally, Your Product is shipped 3 to 5 days after placing Your order. Delivery time is subtracted from Your Free Trial Period, and will reduce the number of days allocated to Your Free Trial Period. If You want to extend Your Free Trial Period due to slow postal delivery or delayed pickup, You must call Our Customer Service Department toll-free at 080 8238 9891 or (+44) 2031399027 outside of the UK. Reasonable requests (as determined by VIV3) to extend Your Free Trial Period generally will be granted.
    • 3. If You are satisfied with the Product and wish to continue to receive the Product on a monthly basis, You need do nothing else. Upon the expiration of the Free Trial Period, Your credit card will be billed for the full cost of the Product that You ordered (i.e., a thirty day supply).
    • 4. On the thirtieth day following the date You first ordered Your Product, VIV3 will send you another thirty (30) day supply of the Product, and the credit card You provided to us will be automatically billed for the Product.
    • 5. Unless You cancel this service, every thirty (30) days thereafter VIV3 will send you an additional thirty (30) day supply of the Product You ordered, and the credit card You provided to us will be automatically billed for the Product.
    SO IN SUMMARY...
    1) YOU ORDER AND HAVE 15 DAYS TO RETURN.
2)THEY SHIP 5 DAYS AFTER (WHICH COUNTS AS YOUR FREE TRIAL TIME. THATS 1/3 OF THE TRIAL TIME JUST TO SHIP)
    3) ONCE SHIPPED IT WILL TAKE ANOTHER 2 DAYS OR SO TO ARRIVE.
    4) YOU WOULD HAVE TO ALLOW AT LEAST 3 DAYS TO SEND THE PRODUCT BACK WITH THE UK POSTAL SERVICE, LEAVING YOU 4/5 DAYS TO ACTUALLY TRY THE PRODUCT. HOW WOULD YOU KNOW IN THAT TIME?
    5) IF YOU ARE OUTSIDE OF THIS RIDICULOUS SCHEDULE YOU WILL BE CHARGED £70!!! THATS OVER $100 FOR ONE MONTHS SUPPLY OF A NATURAL BERRY!!!

    THESE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS.

The fact that people are on the Dragondoor forum would suggest that they want to lose weight properly, not via a gimic and a glorified colonic irrigation. Look at those figures...thats over £800 per year. Jeez, you could buy a complete home gym for that. a gym subscription would only cost around £400 per years and you could go every day and do it right.

Anyone considering these offers needs help!

The Acai Berry Pill is bad for your health. I think that the natural acai berry is an antioxidant, but I'm not quite sure.

i couldn's say whether a pill is bad for your health or not, but the only thing that gets rid of fat in a diet is caloric restriction.
Anything else is just one's preference.
Eat food, mostly plants. to quote pollan
To lose weight, eat less. To lose weight faster eat less and move more. Move anyway.

The tough stuff is finding approaches to stay calorie restricted.
Hence the change one thing approach.
    to help get to "less"
