Have you seen a MD? Perhaps you have contracted some form of food poisoning?

Cramping is common among folks who enter ketosis and excrete a lot of water. The Atkins diet recommends super-supplementation of potassium and magnesium during the adjustment phase (typically no longer than the first week) to stop the cramping.

It looks like you gradually reduced your carbs until you hit a ketosis level, then your body suddenly flipped a switch and you spend the whole night a-drainin' the bladder. If you're going into a very low-carb/all-meat diet, I think the ketosis/water loss that may be unavoidable no matter how gradually you reduce. I could be wrong, though, this is just a suspicion.

I was in ketosis while still having some veggies, at least according to the keto-stix. The water loss was the most I had ever experienced. Mineral supplimentation did not help, with the cramping, which was unreal.
