I am a fat guy, Which diet is best!!!
Hi, I am as title says. 295 6footer. I just started doing kbs 3 weeks ago, lost 15 lbs so far.(310 starting out) I have a larger build. I have been doing 200 + reps a day. Swings, snatches and c&p. I want to revamp my diet for maximum fat loss. I am sick of being out of shape. btw I use a 35lb bell. Any recommendations? The warrior diet looks intrigueing. Is it worth it? Thanks all!!

If losing weight is your goal, then I don't think you can go wrong with the warrior diet. Congratulations on your current weight loss!

Precision Nutrition works well too. To each their own. The most important part is to stick to a diet rather than skip around. Some dieting information is available in the Megathread FAQ in the strength and conditioning forum. I have linked the post from the Megathread below that has a lot of the Nutrition information:

I would throw in my vote for Eat Stop Eat to complement those above.
The real truth is that its about consuming less calories. Most people can simply get by with eating a little less over time. The best diet is the one you can adhere to consistently. I personally also feel it needs to be one you can have a life with as well.
Good luck and keep on swinging,
Chiggers

Like Chiggers mentions, if you want to lose weight you have to decrease the calories you take in. I have had great experiences with the warrior diet for this aside from its other benefits.
It may be easier to make a transition towards whatever diet you end up doing though. It can be jarring to make big changes in your diet and making transitional changes towards a final goal can help. The more you learn about what you eat and how it affects you the better.
Some good tips to start with:
Stop drinking sodas of any sort, juice, etc. Make water the only thing you drink. You would be surprised how many calories come in juices, etc. Drink lots of water constantly all day...this will help keep you full.
Take in some additional fiber every day. Milled flax seed fiber is an excellent source of fiber along with healthy fats. This along with the water you take in will keep you feeling full. Two tablespoons of this a few times every in a salad, oatmeal or whatever will have big benefits.
Try to slowly change the things you are eating and gradually remove highly processed foods from your diet. Move towards simplifying what you eat. Snack on carrots, broccoli, fruit and raw nuts in between meals if you get really hungry.
For one day write down everything that you eat and drink, go to a website like fitday.com and figure out the calories you took in that day. Figure out what the calorie requirements would be for the weight you are shooting for and compare the two. It can be a real eye opener and will help you with decision making on portion control.

Eat real food. Don't put anything in your mouth that comes out of a package.

I had great results with the Warrior Diet, and I continue to use that as a basis for my diet. I went from 250 lbs, at about 30 percent bodyfat, 6'5" and ended up at about 215, 15 percent bodyfat with KB's and Warrior Diet. Now there has been a slow progression where my weight doesn't change much, but my body fat is going down slowly and steadily.

I struggle with this- I've had to go my own way since I'm head cook for not just my wife and 2 kids, but a whole household of 9 (well, one of them is completely uninterested and I swear has gained 2 pounds for every one I've lost.)
No diet I've found works right. Even PN was causing me issues. What I do consists of a decent egg or sausage breakfast sometime after I do 100 swings in the morning and mostly nothing until dinner, which is late.
Perfect? no, but I'm down to 215 from 235 in 3 months with a lot of visible muscle gain.
My advice is very basic: no sugar- no added sugar. That includes honey! No juice or soda drinks. nothing in a can and if you can't dispense with bread, tortillas, rice, and corn completely- limit yourself to no more than 8 slices of "good" bread a week.
That's not an anti carb thing- it's just that if you don't control it, you can end up eating pounds of processed grains (flour) every week that you don't notice.
Oh, and the important bit- never eat ANYTHING, not even a single strawberry, without some short intense interval. Even a set of 20 or 40 swings. Something. How much depends on your condition.
