Default Warrior Diet for 1st time: Day 1

Im coming off the traditional 6-7 meals a day.

Day 1 on the Warrior Diet and this is what Ive done so far...

8am - water, multivitamin, celery sticks, small portion of cottage cheese.

10am - apple (ate sparingly between 9-11am)

noon - romaine lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, 3 egg whites 1 egg, couple of almonds

2pm - handful of strawberries

4pm - the rest of the strawberries

6pm - salad, ground turkey with mixed veggies, EFA oils, brown rice w salsa. double to triple portions on the 6pm meal.

Today was my off day from training so Im undecided if Im going to have a preworkout meal before training tomorrow. For my post workout Ill have a whey & banana shake.

I want to lose about 10 pounds of stubborn fat & firm up around the chest & belly area. I dont want to go lower than 185 pounds.

Im 5'11 198. Im deadlifting (Friday) 8x3 for 320. Im squatting (Monday) 245 for 8x3. And Double KB Clean & Press (Wednesday) 8x3 with 60 sec rest with the 70s. Those are my 3 BIG lifts.

Any opinions of feedback would be great.

If you go by the book, vegetables during the daytime are not recommended. The author recommends vegetable juices (fresh, not bottled). Of course, this is pretty inconvenient. I myself do eat some carrots during the daytime but otherwise save all my vegetables for the evening meal. There are some decent juices (Bolthouse Farms) that don't have any added sugar.

I have only lost 8-9 lbs since starting the Warrior Diet in July, but have leaned out quite a bit. I wasn't that heavy to begin with, and was simply trying to lose the last of the bellyfat. Now I have added one 24 hour water fast per week to hopefully get down to 8% BF or so. But I do enjoy the Warrior way of eating, and will probably do it forever, with a bit of cheating one day a week.

I thought he said we can eat live raw veggies during the under eating phase. The cooked veggies are for later on in the overeating phase.

Im going out to buy a juicer tonight

If I recall correctly (I'd have to check the book for certain), you can eat veggies during the day, preferably raw. In fact, all I might recommend is cutting down on the non veggie's during your undereating phase except on training days, from a Warrior Diet perspective. Although, your list for the day closely resembles a sample day of eating as laid out in the book (again, I could be wrong, but I dont feel like dragging the book out).
