Default Warrior Diet Log

I have recently decided to try the warrior diet as an experiment. I hear about it on other forums every once in a while and I have always been curious about it. Unfortunately while there seems to be a lot of people curious and skeptical about the diet there doesn't seem to be a ton of information regarding people's results as a lot of people don't seem to follow through with their logs/blogs.

My goal with this log is to provide people with some evidence of the diet's results(or lack there of). I'm going to follow the diet as best as I can but I will have cheat moments because I do have a social life. What good is a lifetime diet that doesn't allow for a weekend bender every now and then? I'll log the times I deviate from the diet so people can take that into account.

I have been on the diet since Nov 16th and I will continue to follow it until Feb 16th, 3 months. I'm not going to post every day but probably once or twice a week.

My goals with this diet are:
1) Fat loss
2) More energy throughout day
3) Maintain or improve athletic performance
4) Convenience

A little about me:
I am a 27 year old college student and army reservist from the midwest. I took a PT test a month and a half ago and scored 297 but I have been a bum and gorged on junk food since then. I'm 5'9" and I don't really know my current weight but I'll find that out and post it soon.

My diet yesterday:

8:00AM- cup of green tea

11:00AM- cup of green tea

12:00PM- apple

3:00PM- handful of carrots

7:00PM- large chunk of raw broccoli w/ranch, bowl of tomato soup, apx 1lb ground beef seasoned, apx 6oz pasta with small ammount of butter and parmesan

I ordered Never Gymless by Ross Enamait and will hopefully get it sometime next week. Until then my routine will be:

Sun: Rest
Mon: Run 3 miles, P90x ab routine
Tue: Workout 101 RossTraining - Articles
Wed: Rest
Thu: Run 3 miles, P90x ab routine
Fri:Workout 101
Sat: Pickup soccer at the park apx 2 hours

Not the greatest routine ever and probably overtraining my legs a bit but it'll do until I get NG and can make up a good routine.

I feel pretty good so far. I do have more energy throughout the day but towards the end of the day I get bags under my eyes and get a wasted look even though I don't feel tired or fatigued. I get plenty of sleep so that can't be it. If this continues I may up my caloric intake during the undereating period or maybe drink more tea. Its probably just the result of my body not being used to the diet. Overall though I feel very clear headed and in a generally good mood.

Diet yesterday:

I won't put the green tea on here anymore just what I eat.

10:00AM- Apple
1:00PM- Apple
3:00PM- Broccoli
7:00PM- Post workout shake, Apple, 1lb ground beef, 4 banana walnut flaxseed muffins

Workout: ran 3 miles, P90x ab routine

My workout sucked yesterday. Well actually my run just sucked the ab workout went pretty well. I think my legs might be a little over worked. I have soccer tomorrow so I think I'll rest them today and revise today's workout to do just upper body.

Woke up this morning extremely HUNGRY. Almost said "screw it" and went down to the kitchen to grab some of the banana flaxseed muffins I made last night. Not sure what to think of this. Also, my body is not looking that great and it feels like I am gaining fat not losing it. I need to run to Walmart today and pick up a scale to weigh myself I can measure it.

Might be hijacking your log, but your "Warrior Diet" is pretty modified. I recommend getting the book, or following it if you have it.

I agree with RezH. Do you have the book?

At the risk of sounding like an arse, why don't you keep a blog on here with your diet? There is a feature for it and whilst your experiment is interesting perhaps its best kept as an option for people to refer to your blog if they are interested in how you are getting on. The forum can then be kept for discussions. It's not the most interesting thing in the world to see some ones daily updates on their intermittent fasting diet. Perhaps the other forums would benefit better from your report. DD has been in WD mania for so long now its not news. If you want some advice etc then ask specifically and you will get it. We are nice over here (most of the time ).

Or perhaps random diet entries are interesting....

Yesterday i ate and drank:
1 litre coffee. A couple of bottles of water. 2 bowls pinole. A bowl of white beans with salsa sauce and chia seeds. A schnitzel with broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes. Also had a couple of Augustiner beers.

Interesting?
