    Default My Warrior diet journey

Ok guys, so today is the start of my warrior diet.
I am new to the site and I am looking forward to reading alot of the forum posts.

I am about half way through the warrior diet book and it is fantastic.

Unfortunatly I started a little hung over today. I drank last night for the first time in 7 weeks so feeling week and just not great today.

On the under eating today I just nibbled a tiny few nuts and some berries. Nothing of any significance.

I am looking forward to over eating tonight.

I have a good appetite and I am hoping to eat solid for about 2-3 hours.

Salad made of lettuce, pickles, chopped nuts, cheese, tomato,3 spoons olive oil

Squash and red pepper soup with shredded chicken thigh and leg

Fillet steak, mushrooms, onions, garlic, quinoa (or some similar carb)

    Keto cheese cake

    Chocolate mint whey before bed

I am hoping this will go well.

I dont have alot of fat, but I am using the warrior diet more for energy and hormonal balance, and not having to be eating microwaved dinners in work. and not having to always be preparing food. feel the freedom today already was great.

    Any comment, ideas, critique welcome.

I train with dropsets and dumbbell cleans for cardio ( we have no kettlebells).
I do a bit of running and cycling in the gym also.

Every mornig I take a teaspoon mixture of glutamine, bcaa, creatine and a spoon of husks for fibre and a multi vit or vit c.

All in all I am happy with that. I drink a good bit of black coffee and tea and ginger honey teas and so on. Lots of water.

    Today is going great.

I had nice steady energy all day in work, no bloating, no low points.
My mood has been fantastic, my thoughts are good.

My gym session went well, tho once I got a big pump on arms my energy dropped.
I was looking forward to my meals all day which is good. I had become depressed with cooking for 6 meals a day and eating the microwaved rubbish.

    My food today

    Whey in water for breakfast
    some rasberries mid morning
    Nuts mid afternoon

    gym

    Feast time
Large lettuce avocado and tomato salad with cheese and nuts and 3 spoons of olive oil
Brocolli, cauliflour, carrot and pea soup with crumpled melba toast
Mini crispi chicken curry with onion (made with hot powder and greek yogurt)
    Fillet steak with cos cos
    protein cheese cake dessert
    whey shake for last part

All in all I have no problem getting the food down. My appetite is massive today.

I slept so much last night. 1030 pm to 0730 am. Unbelievable like.

Only think I noticed today was I was going through spells of extreme sweating to kinda cold.

Today was another good day. I was sloghtly hungry but that is understandable.

    I had as follows

    Whey (am)
    Berries (am)
    Nuts (pm)

    Gym

    Salad
    Veg soup with cream
2 x 12" rolls with chicken thigh and leg meat with cherrizo onions musrooms garlic chilli cream and stock
    10 mini chinese spring rolls

I may cut tonights protein shake and have it tomorrow afternoon.
Can I supplement in a shake If I am hungry during the afternoon?

    All in all going well.

Last night I got good ammount of sleep, but sometimes was broken. I woke up dripping in sweat and actually had to remove t-shirt, pee and try sleep again. this is not that common for me, so hope it is motabolism.

I woke up so lean today which was nice.
I went and did some cardio today, and guess what, 15 minutes running, no cramps, heaviness, bouncing belly. All I got was plenty of sweating, good concentration and motivation, and the weirdest thing happened, I got a keto diet type taste in my mouth. So hope that was fat burning or something.

I started 4 weeks ago and have not looked back. I was made for this tyle of eating style. How is the weight. Ive lost about 7-9 lbs in the month. the important thing is there is no bloating, consistant enery (since the first day). Overall I feel good. Te best this is I really enjoy by meal at night because I am truly hungry.

The thing about WD is you eat "by feeling". So if you want that carrot-salad it is your body telling you that you "need" it. You don't need to count kcal or "time" your meals at special hours.

I have made some small changes in my regime. I now take a whey shake with 0.5dl full cream (40% fat) and 2.5dl water at 12.00. Then i follow it up with some tuna (in oil), a coffe with 1/3 full cream + 2/3 coffe another shake. This ups my kcal a bit in the day (still about 50-75% of total kcal in the evening). I "allways" train with my stomach empty though, i do not feel like "hunting" when i am full.

I feel this way when i eat to late in the evening and/or drink to much to late.

I am still going with the diet.

    And loving it.

I generally break it on the weekends for a few beers if we are away or what ever.
But 6 days solid every week.

I feel great for the few weeks so far. No tiredness during the day. No crashes, unless I eat to much carbs.

My girlfriend is on it to, so we tend to do the dog on nice things hehehe. But we will be back at the gym tomorrow.

I have only been getting 2-3 days training a week but still look very good,.
Nice shape to stomach, rounded shoulders.

Last night was the first bad night, but I have drank a good bit of whiskey over the last week, as it was my birthday.

But, back on track, back on track hahaha.
