hahaha I know I've visited defense nutritions forums a few times. It's mostly old news and almost never used. I love Ori's products though. I'm beginning to cycle WD and Parrillos' form of dieting every 3 months. I got that idea from The Purposeful Primitive.

Similarly, we should have such a community for strength training with kettlebells, free weights, and bodyweight exercise... Oh, never mind, THAT forum is definitely active.
hehe... yeah it is pretty quiet over there. I'm thinking of getting 'unlock your muscle gene', have you found it to be a worthy purchase?

I would highly recommend it. Unlock is great if your read the Warrior Diet before. Unlock doesn't give you a set meal plan, just more of ideas and methods to create your diet around.

As I'm currently trying to apply several of the principles, I hope it's a worthy purchase.

Like 'Maximum Muscle Minimum Fat' it is presented in a series of brief essays. Unlike 'Maximum Muscle Minimum Fat' it is an easy read.

Like 'The Warrior Diet,' the book may've been improved by clearly showing applications of the principles described. As mentioned in other posts (of mine), it wasn't until I read 'The Warrior Diet Fat Loss Plan' that I really understood the application of the diet and certain terminology.

Maybe an e-book for unlocking the muscle gene is in the works...

Regardless, I gather a great deal from Mr. Hofmekler's information. Be sure to check out the two most recent articles on his blog.
