Default Longer term Magnesium Oil usage

Has anyone who has used Magnesium Oil for months or longer noticed any adverse or other effects? 2nd question for longer term users...how has your usage changed over time?

I'm curious since this seems to be a relatively new supplement on the market. I've been using it for ~8 months +.

I still use it ~4+ days per week and like the calming and sleep enhancing effects. I noticed minor headaches from time to time that seem to come from it's usage.

I've been using it on/off for close to a year. The hardest thing for me is remembering to use it. My doctor didn't have a problem with me using it. If i use it at night it messes with the sheets in my bed and if I spray it on while standing on a carpeted area it makes the carpet kind of crusty. Ideally I would spray it on 20-30min before showering but it doesn't always work out that way.

I haven't noticed any side effects from it at all. I have also noticed better sleep as you have. When I run out I plan to try Mike Mahlers new product he came out with that also has the MSM in it.

I've been using it for over a year. I never noticed any negative side effects, nor have I had any problems with crustiness on carpets or anything. Maybe you're putting it on too heavily?

My usual time is after my shower, and I generally don't wipe down after letting it soak for 20 min. Generally only 8-10 sprays as per the instructions on the bottle.

Actually, I had one really strange side effect from using it. I get terrible in-grown hairs from Mag oil. It got better after a month or two but it's still pretty bad. My legs were completely covered in the in-grown hairs but I enjoy the benefits so it's worth it. Weird eh?

That is weird. Not sure what else to say about that.

@DKhuluq I don't think im putting it on too heavily I use 8-12 sprays. My wife complains if i spray it on over the carpet cuz it makes it crusty.

16-18 sprays 2 x a day. I bought the Magnesoothe. 64 oz. cheap without shipping. To me it's the same as taking a vitamin. I use it when I first wakeup and before I go to bed. Legs and arms. Chad, I'd be mad at you too! Spray it in the bathroom.

Thanks everyone for the input. I've been using Swanson's. Pretty inexpensive compared to Ancient Minerals and seems to have the same effects.

I always wash mine off either with a shower or wash cloth. I can't stand to leave it on.

I've noticed from time to time more salty sweat than usual especially when I don't drink a lot of water and use it for a few days or week or so.

To avoid over spray, just spray it into your hand and then rub it on.
