He we are again with Thanksgiving Day 2 days away. I plan to take that day off - with no training, and no restriction on what I eat or how much. I will enjoy the day with family and relatives and I will place no limits on myself. I want to get through THE day with no regrets - because this SINGLE day is a planned failure event and is soley for my enjoyment with no thoughts of self improvement or betterment. Doing it any other way only diminshes the celebration of the day. But when the dinner dishes are washed and put away and leftovers stored (the leftovers are not for me but other family members) and I have a few final shots of whisky its time for bed - and I know that tommorrow its time to get serious again. Thangsgiving is a ONE day event as far as eating is concerned. Thats why I feel no angst about it. Same with Christmas as it should be.
No one day of overeating or stuffing yourself with too much food will make any difference in the big picture. The key is to limit it to ONE day. Enjoy the day and be thankful that you live in a country where you CAN eat like this because many others can't...Dennis
