That's a really great message to put out there. So many of us do get wrapped up in the number on the scale. I find that when I forget about that, I stay on track with my fitness goals much easier. On the other hand, every time I try some extreme diet, weighing in every week, I end up with low energy and insane cravings. So yea, focus on how many pull ups you can do! Lol. Although, I'm ashamed to say at the moment.

As an Anti-aging doctor I'm amazed people don't know the two main causes of belly fat so here you go:
In men,if you are on testosterone or your liver doesn't clear the aromatized metabolite estradiol-voila,belly fat. Check an estradiol level.
By the way anastrozole will knock it down. You want 15-25 as ideal.

Next, high cortisol levels are big time associated with belly fat. Even a fasting cortisol, not just 4x salivarys can prove this. And this is 85% of the time treated with adrenal support so HC isn't needed. Symptoms:energy levels down, sleep interrupted.....

Rarely is it NOT one of these two things!

Yeah my weight has gone from around 86KG to around 87.2KG the last 5 weeks. In all that time though my pull up numbers have gotten better and I didn't gain any significant inches on my waist.

I just ate 3 low carb meals a day and kept snacking to minimal (only nuts, butter, coconut oil, dark chocolate, peanut butter, olives, cheese, heavy whipping cream). I'm surprised I didn't balloon up in weight more to be honest, but I'm used to healthy eating now.

Well you have to start doing more exercises for your stomach, you must wake up the muscles beneath your belly, that is the only way (with diet, cycling and exercises for your stomach and even pushups would help you). I'm talking from personal experience.

    Hi hoxton,

As per provided your daily schedule, I come to know that, you want to reduce your weight and likes to look fit and fine but it seems that you are still not able to achieve your goal.

You are already taking a good meal but there is something which is missing from your diet, and that is rich source of protein.

According to various fitness trainer, If you want to reduce your weight and get your body in shape, then you must take protein rich food and supplements. Proteins are available in various forms, you just have to take decision which type of food and supplement suits your body best.

1st type is, to take natural protein rich food that is egg and green leafy vegetables, eggs contain high class of proteins that are essential for our body.

And, other one is to take protein supplements. there are lots of supplements are available in the market like whey protein, proteinx etc. They are also very effective, but needs some physical activities also, for more information you can consult your doc about this.

    I hope this helps you.
