    Default Lactovegetarian diet!

    Hello,

I am a lactovegetarian from India. My main aim is building muscle. Is it possible to build muscles on this diet with the help of body weight exercise? If yes, then what should the diet plan be?

    Thank You!

Yes, it is not only possible, but probable. Get a copy of Convict Conditioning, and by the time you are on step 6 on 4 of the Big 6, you will notice you have gained muscle. As you progress further, muscle will be added more quickly.

No big deal on the diet. If you want to gain more weight, eat more.

Just get started. You will be the best critic.

    Good Luck on your journey.

That was covered in 'the 4 hour body' but I don't recall any of the details, you'll have to check it out, very informative book.

The laco vegetarian diet is probably best for building muscle.

    Soy Protein
    Whey Protein
    Egg Whites
    Salmon

All you'll ever need. Just make sure you're a vegetarian who eats vegetables, not the kind that has coke and Twinkies.

Just for tech accuracy, lacto means dairy but zero critter so no fish. If eggs but no fish then an ovo-vegetarian.
If you also eat salmon then you are a pescatarian.
