Looks like you made 4 pounds per month, which is certainly reasonable - pretty close to your goal (a pound a week is good, imo). Who knows, you may surprise yourself and reach the 180 before the end of October.

BTW - just curious, did you try out the "chocolate milk recovery" plan ?

Yes, I've used it as a recovery drink, I don't see any vast improvements, but I like it and feel better after a workout. I know some think this is BS, and I'm not recommending it, but, hey, I grew up in Wisconsin and still love milk and cheese. Just about all diary products, really.

So if it makes me feel better and less dragged out after a workout, what the hell.

I don't see anything wrong with it - if it works for you, why not ? I tend to think that the whole post workout recovery drink philosophy is made unnecessarily complex alot of the time (macronutrient ratios, quick absorption, GI, don't use anything that the liver has to process first etc. etc. ). I've tried a pretty diverse array of post workout meals, and never noticed what I'd call a staggering difference between any of them, to be honest.
