This got me curious. When has Josh been bashing kettlebell training? I have been following his work for quite some time, and was in fact certified on his first ever LIFT (now DVRT) cert some years...

HIT gets a bad rep. It works just fine for building. If it works for you then use it, if it doesn't then don't. It's all about what works for you and changing something up when you lose traction.

I'm not Gironda but I recommend you try them and evaluate how your upper pecs feel. Perhaps they didn't hit the upper pecs very well for Gironda but they sure do for a lot of people.
You might want to try the gironda style dips and see if you do not wish to reevaluate this statement.
Give gironda dips a go.
On none training days I eat one meal / day. But if I don't keep track of my calories and macros this meal will end up being a good amount of overeating and I'll (not so) slowly put on another layer...
A normal thing many throw out is "do as many pulls as pushes." By going with this I think you'd also have a better time if you did the horizontal/vertical split on this.
eg:
for each pull up...
You can build a basic dip station out of wood or metal if you're into carpentry or welding. Might as well build a somewhat nice powerrack then and use that also for dipping.... or if you're not...
I have read the book about 3 times. And yes, I followed the rules.
Speaking of RKCs there is atleast one former RKC that is quoted praising the book.. but if one actually asks him about this the...
For me it fails because it basically says eat until full. Never gonna work for me. Calories must be counted or I gain weight. :)
Lol. It's far from idiot proof in my (and actually some former top RKCs') experience. I put on quite a bit of extra fat on WD. The whole "eat until you are full" thing just dun work for me. :)

Only thing not spelled out is how you get up without slipping in the pool of sweat after you've collapsed onto the floor after a KB Muscle session. :)
No. I can't do any kind of fasted training :). But it is quite a good read anyway. Even though the studies cited in the book don't really match certain aspects (eg. training in the evening is...
Might want to look inte "carb back loading" too.
And remember.. to get the most bang for your bucks out of something like LG you will be wanting to count your calories and macros.
You will be working with 1 set of bells that you can military press for 5+ reps. Saying 5+ here because the original plan calls for 5RM, but you can do some modifications. Going lower than 5 would...
Well so much for it being any property of the pasteurisation process making it all well.. or the calcium for that matter. Perhaps the full fat increases absorbility of some other nutrient. ...
Sorry about the long post coming here.. but.. I'm a student of odontology and I find teeth and oral health extremely interesting.
Most tooth pastes are pretty much the same anyway so that is...
Don't worry about the volum.. you have some sessions to work it up to 150. :) How are you working the sets? ladder style or what? I did 30 sets of 5 reps myself. Found doing the same number each...
Seeing how I'm in Sweden I would be preparing for the swedish prison system.. which is all about rehabilitation and I guess I would prepare by looking into what I would like to do when I get out. How...
Very interesting question. In hindsight I think the lighter option would actually be better for the press.. for the ego maybe the heavier is better. I went with the heavier. Might not even make a...
I was wondering about the bell size back when I was doing the program. Opted to stick with the same VS bell the first 3 meso cycles. The increased density or fatigue made up for any slack. Worked out...
For HS I did them as part of the tally. Not so much for VS. But to be perfectly honest I mostly only used the isometrics.. doing them in between every fifth volume set or some such. The set just...
Grip work.
Pretty much what I do most of the time and I am having good results in terms of mass and fat%. Which are my interests... Strength is a nice side effect of it all.
monday: rest.

Check out Mike Mahler's website. He has some good information on how to get good amounts of protein into a vegan diet.
Finding something that is pretty much only protein is not gonna work though...
Have you tride raw unpasteurized dairy? Quite a few people seem to handle this a lot better than the boiled white liquid sold at the grocery stores. Should be able to get cream and make ice cream...
I poked him on facebook about his book just the other day. It has been delayed for a bit.
I was at the martial arts club one day some years ago. Someone there was talking about how he had started doing stretching while watching the TV at home.. said he was reading some books by "some...
I luuuuv quinoa. But also as a "carb" and not as a "protein." Also seems quinoa is quite rich in ecdysterones which might or might not be good.
It's a seed and not a grain. :)
Basically they looked at the diet of a lot of people with illness and found that a lot of them ate egg yolks.
