  1. Default GTG with Longstrength exercises?

    Has anyone had any success with using Dr. Leo Swartz gymnastic type Longstrength exercises(ie; squat pullup) as an assisatnce to greasing the groove or as the actual workout? I was thinking that one could get plenty of work in the motion or path while not really exhaustings oneself. Hope I made what I was trying to say clear but I ain't sure. I did some squat pullups the other nigh for sets of 25 reps and was surprisingly sore the next morning with little fatigue during or after the workout.

    Maybe I should clear this up by saying that I was talking about GTG for chinups/pullups. One of the things that I was wondering about was if the tension had to be super high when GTG for it to work? Because I don't think my tension was anywhere near maximum at any point, I just seemed to manage alot of work in a relatively short time with little fatigue by using the squat/pullup longstrength exercise.
