Happy to report that I've "graduated" from the 16kg kettlebell snatch test.
Years ago, hearing about the RKC snatch test of 200 snatches in 10 minutes with the 24 kg (!!!) seemed INHUMAN.
After about 6 months of working in some Mike Mahler-esque 3x workouts and 5x5 as well, I can attest to the power of a slightly heavier kettlebell (20kg) conditioning the body for explosive gains!
I was just barely able to eek out 200 snatches with the 16kg over the weekend in the 10 minute test time period!
Listen to your body, vary your workout intensity, do more with LESS.
Most workouts were 3 to 5 sets of only 5 reps, and only 4 exercises!
Pushups
Snatch
Double C&P
Single-leg squat (just the cyclist in me).
Progress over perfection.
Get it ya'll.
