Hit the deck program

Is there any other exercises or programs i can combine it with? Specifically to take care of my lower body/posterior chain? Or would that be counter productive?

Lower body training with a more "normal" frequency should be fine. What do you normally do? I wouldn't do any more for the upper body except perhaps some small stuff to balance out, and only if you can recover properly.

We'll I spent the summer doing 40 day program/easy strength and I just started program minimum.

I'm currently reading beyond bodybuilding and liked the hit the deck program and getting my push-ups up. I realize that it's only two weeks, but i don't want my hard earned strength numbers going down.

Would PTP style deadlifting be ok?
