last pre-contest workout

defying all convention, what this guy needed was a workout:

SC Jerks 5, 5, 27 (PR), 12

1 x 4/4 reps single-legged DL x 48kg,

100 Hindu squats

I didn't push it too hard. What I'm feeling the most is the DL's actually.

BW ~ 188 lbs.

Tapering and the big psyche-out

To be clear, I'm really really pro-tapering. But you also need to have faith in yourself and if you get into really heavy self-doubt before a meet (it happens), sometimes the best thing to do is go pick up the weights and do a few sets.
