Have recently received the book. Read it twice thus far. I plan to apply it this spring when weather improves and there are parks close by to train in (in the out doors). SWINGS - GOBLET SQUATS - TURKISH GET UPS.... FUNDAMENTALS...My goal is fat loss and muscle definition. What can I say! Dan John wrote it! I direct your attention to page 32 - "Squats can do more for TOTAL muscle mass and OVERALL body strength than probably ALL the other lifts combined."...Dennis

Isn't he referring to HEAVY squats, likely a lot heavier than anyone can manage w/ kb goblet style i.e. barbell for max muscle mass and overall strength. And of course there are a whole lot of people who will say the exact same for heavy deadlifts.

I'm not sure. But in Dan's book he indicates that the goblet squat for most people does the job. Pretty sure using a 106lber would fit the bill nicely ...Dennis

Page 35 - last paragraph: "I think goblet squats are all the squatting most people need. " Then Dan mentions that a few sets of goblet squats over 100lbs you will wonder how toilet got so low. I'm still wondering mysef!...Dennis
