VWC - The LaT Protocol

I cannot find in the book for the LaT protocol if you should switch hands with the bell during each set. i.e. if you are to do 32 reps per minute, should you switch after 16?

Thanks

Thanks for the reply.

I have to tell you that until I met you (briefly at 9S in July) I had never used a kettlebell. I then heard people at 9s rave about your book and Z telling me about the benefits of the bell.

Based on that and how you came across in person (very favorable) I thought I would try both your book and the bell.

I got both in August.

Since then I cannot believe the results I have had. Put your book and a bell together with IF and my body comp changes have been phenomenal.

When I was recently at the Dr. they were originally concerned that my resting heart rate was 42, I was not.

All this with only getting through Mvo2 Boost. I am looking forward to the LaT (if I survive)

Bob---U started in August and made it thru 15/15 and 36/36? Wow awesome---Just curious how you progressed thru last 3-4 months---I am on 36/36 and just getting 18 sets of 17 is a bear.. Thx

The 36/36 was hard but I only had a 30lb kb to start with. I have moved up to a 20kg kb now and the 15 x 15 was a grind.

I skipped the 36/36 and went right to the boost. the boost was hard but it has really made the LaT fairly easy with a 2 min rest. I am almost to the 15th set with two minute rest and can see that the 90 second rest will be really hard.

The results physically have been incredible. I have needed to go to the Dr. a few times in the last month and they got really concerned when my resting pulse was 42. They immediately hooked me up to an ekg and were kind of freaking. I told them to relax there was absolutely no problem with my heart. When the Dr. read the ekg all she could say was wow.

I resisted kb's because I thought they were cultish and a dumbbell could do the same thing until a pretty smart guy told me to give them a try. I am sold and planning on buying the next two sizes very soon.

I haven't written a review but will do so this week.

Quick question, any problem doing the MSLaP protocol with the LaT instead of waiting until the 15x15 comes back around. I am currently doing VWC three times per week and want to do MSLaP once with the LaT twice?

Thanks

sure you can do that. just monitor your fatigue and adjust accordingly.

Hej Kenneth,

Love the book. I had one question....for the LaT protocol, I am supposed to use my best score on the SSST using a 24kg bell? Or am I supposed to do a modified SSST using the smaller bell I have been using for 15:15 and 36:36? I have been using a 16kg bell for those protocols. I have actually never even attempted 10 min with the 24kg, since it was hard enough for me just to get the RKC numbers of 100 reps in 5 minutes with the 24kg.

Tusind tak!
