Warrior Diet revisited

Am doing WD once again. Into3rd week and doing quite well with it. One major change I have made to WD is that my undereating phase is now a NO EATING PHASE. That's right - no food at all. Zero calories, Template is 20/4...Combined with a walking/jogging and kb swings the fat is shedding at a steady clip. I got this idea from fledgefitness.com. The other way with an undereating phase only serves to allow you to make mistakes. With NO EATING its simple because you don't make any decision at all and presto-- no mistakes. And the fat dropping fast...Dennis

Its been about 6-7 weeks on WD. No eating in the UEP is a game changer for me. Not only have I dropped 17lbs but also I appear to look significantly fitter and leaner in an athletic way as opposed to someone who has just gone a "diet" and lost weight. Skinny-fat is what I think that means. I will say that I am also doing Pttp and kettlebell swings 5 days a week. Lastly I will say that I so earnestly want to see a "six-pack" on my bod at least once before I die. I know its there - I just never seen it in all my 63 years. Perhaps then I can pose nude for aspiring women artists at the local college....If only....Dennis

Over 60 days on IF. Weight lost around 24lbs. The Fat loss I really don't know, but I definitely see a much leaner me. A lot of fat from my face and butt is gone. My waist size has shrunk to the extend I need new belts to hold up my trousers. Probably need new trousers too...hehehe!! I FEEL great! Alert and full of energy. I get out of bed earlier around 5am and walk the dogs. Too be honest I do get hungry at times but am well capable of toughing it out. The hunger is very temporary and I know from experience that these sensations of hunger do go away. I also understand that the feeling of hunger is actually a good thing in that it places stress upon the body which then triggers hormonal realease which aids in fat loss. HGH is the ticket...Dennis

My weight loss has slowed up a bit, but I am still leaning out better than ever before. Have included Apple Cider Vinegar in my IF plan. Lost 27lbs thus far...Dennis

I don't know if all the claims of ACV are true (from the many internet sites) but I will say since I have included it with IF eating program, HUNGER is no longer an issue. 80+ days on IF and still making progress - slowly. Apple Cider Vinegar has made the hunger manageable and contributes significantly to success. Weight loss is slow but consistant from week to week. Mostly now only half a pound, maybe 1 or 1.5 pounds. But I can see a ghost of my abs beneath the surface. Patience is the keystone. Body fat is indeed being shedded as I speak!!...Dennis

Over 4 months in with IF. Fat loss is still happening. Weight loss has slowed, stalled and even had a weight gain/loss of several pounds back and forth. So if a number on the scale is most important for you, you will be frustrated doing this. Waist size now 34 inches. Down from 38 inches. Lifting weights and swinging kettlebells. Overall happy about results EXCEPT that my bench press strength has dropped considerably. Pull up numbers have gone higher though...Dennis

Almost six months now. Feel I have gained TOTAL control over eating outside my eating window (20 hrs). I eat healthy for the most part. No fast food. Alcohol restricted to Saturday - a KEY point for success. I fit into 32 inch trousers but still prefer 34 inch for more comfort. Six pack starting to become reality...I have never experienced this much fat loss in my entire life. And it gets easier each passing month...Dennis

About 200+ days into IF. Maintaining the 20/4 template is now effortless. I am considering doing a 36hr fast very soon , and when I hit the 1 year mark I plan to do a 48hr fast. I can now fit comfortably into 32 inch trousers and have to keep buying new belts. . I pulled my Marine Corps Dress Blues uniform out of the closet and tried it on and discovered it felt considerably loose while wearing it. I got the uniform back in 1974 when I was a young, fit 19 year old Marine. I was so stoked that I actually have less BF now than when I did 45 years ago! Still waiting for that six pack to pop. I fully realize now that attaining a true defined chisled six pack could actually take 2-3 years for me. But I am 110% pleased with my journey thus far...Dennis

Another change I have made recently is my coffee drinking. I used to get up in the morning around 5:30-6:00am and start the day with a cup of black coffee - no suger/cream of course - NOW I begin with two cups of water and later apple cider vinegar with lemon with a cup of water. I only begin drinking coffee WHEN I begin to feel hungry usually around 1pm and then again late afternoon early evening. This eliminates the coffee jitters from drinking coffee throughout the day. So hunger is the green light for drinking coffee. And its working for me...Dennis

My eating template is now OMAD. Which is one meal per day which is essentially 23/1 template. 23 hours fasting - zero calories - and 1 hour eating (1 meal). I did this because I felt I was getting much closer now to the exhalted six pack and I wanted to up the pace to get there. I can now see the ghost of a six pack forming. My abs never looked this good before. Even better then when I left USMC boot camp back in the summer 1973. My 34 inch trousers are loose and I have to use a belt. I can fit comfy cozy in 32 inch. Don't think I need work down to a 30 inch. That would be just too much..hehehe!!...Dennis

Tried on a 30 inch waist trousers. I can get into them but is quite snug. So 32 inch is fine by me. Fat reduction is improved. I sense my "6 pack" is right around the corner. Arms and forearms appear more vascular like corded rope. No hint of any fat on my face and neck. No hanging skin. Did a 2 day fast with success just recently. Easy peasy Japanesy. So its been about 1 1/2 yrs on IF - I AM COMPLETELY ADAPTED TO IT. I began with size 38 inch trousers. Down to 32 inch. So my assessment is that I did indeed succeed. Dennis
